The advisory board that guided ReincarnationResearch.com under Walter Semkiw has transitioned into the formal ILCS Advisory Board, now serving the Institute for Life Continuity Studies.
Walter’s Advisory Board — The Foundation
Every member of the current ILCS Advisory Board was originally selected by Dr. Walter Semkiw. These are the people Walter trusted to carry this work forward — scholars, practitioners, educators, and researchers who shared his conviction that reincarnation deserves rigorous, compassionate inquiry. When ILCS was incorporated in January 2026, this board stepped forward together to honor that trust.
Robert A.F. Thurman
Tibetan Buddhism & Cultural Preservation (South Asia)
Renowned scholar and the first Westerner ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist monk by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Co-founder and president of Tibet House US. His expertise in Buddhist philosophy, reincarnation studies, and cross-cultural dialogue brings invaluable depth to ILCS.
Kevin Ryerson
Spiritual Communication & Mediumship
Trance medium and long-standing collaborator with Walter Semkiw. Kevin channels the spirit guide Ahtun Re, whose sessions contributed many of the identity hypotheses in this archive. Kevin continues this work through ILCS, with all contributions transparently labeled as intuitive-track material.

Leads ILCS technical and digital strategy. Built the Reincarnation Case Map, guides the Continuity Archive vision, and designs the platforms that integrate archive, analysis, and community engagement. Also the subject of a documented reincarnation case in this archive.

Ensures that Indian case traditions, scholarship, and perspectives are well represented in ILCS’s global vision. India has one of the richest traditions of documented reincarnation cases.

Contributes expertise in energy systems and how they may interface with memory phenomena. Bridges experiential traditions and empirical inquiry.

Works in synergy with Dr. Sharma to support translations, regional research collaborations, and outreach to academic and cultural partners throughout South Asia.
