Dan Abrams and John Adams Under Fire

Dan Abrams is a lawyer and media entrepreneur. Abrams received a degree in political science prior to law school. Early in his career, he worked as a reporter for Court TV where he covered the OJ Simpson case and the trials of Dr. Jack Kevorkian, who helped terminally ill people commit suicide.

In recent years, he has achieved high visibility due to being the Chief Legal Affairs Anchor for ABC News. Dan is also an author and has written books on three US Presidents, including Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

His most recent book is John Adams Under Fire: The Founding Father’s Fight for Justice in the Boston Massacre Murder Trial. Though Adams was a fierce advocate for American independence, he also believed that the British soldiers who fired muskets upon a threatening mob should receive a fair trial. When no one else would represent them, Adams volunteered.

John Adams later wrote of the Boston Massacre: “On that night the formation of American independence was born.”

Dan Abrams wrote of Adams and his defence of the British soldiers:

“He volunteered to represent them, keeping the peace in a powder keg of a colony, and in the process created some of the foundations of what would become United States law.”

John Adams, Ian Stevenson, MD, Reincarnation and Tolerance

I have an interest in the American Revolution because I had an incarnation in Boston during that era. My first book, Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation and Soul Groups Reunited (2003), is about a cohort from that time that has reemerged today, a cohort that includes me. In that book, I am identified as John Adams reborn.

Ian Stevenson, MD of the University of Virginia compiled over 1500 validated childhood past life memory cases that in aggregate provide proof of reincarnation. This evidence shows that we can change religion, nationality and ethnic affiliation from one lifetime to another.

Most wars are based on differences in these cultural markers of identity, so understanding that these markers are only temporary can help create greater peace. An important case in this regard, as well as others, are provided below:

Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen Reincarnation Case

Reincarnation Cases with Change in Religion, Nationality and Ethnic Affiliation

Spiritual Democracy

Reincarnation research shows that people usually do the same type of thing and follow similar career paths from one lifetime to another. Adams and his colleagues sought to create greater equality though the creation of a democratic country, the United States, which led to another revolution in France. In this way old monarchies were cast off in the name of self-rule.

Evidence of reincarnation will free us from the control of old, established religions, the monarchies of spirituality, and reveals that we truly are equal regardless of what religion, nationality or ethnic group we belong to.

Reincarnation research also allays fear of death and affirms that our souls are eternal. As I like to say:

“With compelling evidence of reincarnation, who needs faith?”

Dan Abrams as the Reincarnation of Isaiah Thomas, Publisher of the “Massachusetts Spy”

I had a hunch that Dan Abrams also was part of the American Revolution and I reasoned that he was likely a newspaper publisher, as Abrams is a reporter and media entrepreneur.

Since 2001, on roughly a monthly basis, I have been working with trance medium Kevin Ryerson who channels a spirit being named Ahtun Re, who has demonstrated the ability to make past life matches with a high degree of accuracy. In a session with Kevin over the telephone, I asked Ahtun Re whether Dan Abrams was incarnate during the American Revolution and if so, was he a newspaper publisher?

As is usual, Ahtun Re said, “One moment,” during which he psychically tunes into the subject of interest and waits for information to come to him. He can access a record of events that is engrained in the spirit realm, which some call the Akashic Record.

Ahtun Re returned and related that Dan was a newspaper publisher in Boston during the Revolution and that his periodical was supportive of the Patriot cause of Independence.

After doing some research into Boston newspapers and their founders, it appeared that Isaiah Thomas was the best candidate. In a subsequent session with Kevin, Ahtun Re affirmed that Dan Abrams is the reincarnation of Thomas.

Isaiah Thomas was born in 1749 in Boston, Massachusetts and as a teen he was apprenticed to a printer. As an adult, Thomas worked as a printer in New Hampshire and South Carolina.

He returned to Boston and in 1770 he formed a partnership to create a new newspaper, which was given the saucy name, the Massachusetts Spy. The Spy did indeed support the Patriots to the extent that the British colonial government took Isaiah Thomas to court, though in the end a grand jury failed to make an indictment. Due to this experience, Thomas moved his printing presses outside of Boston to nearby Worcester, Massachusetts, where he settled.

Isaiah Thomas and the Boston Massacre: Reporting Across Two Lifetimes

The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770, with the trial taking place later that year. As such, Thomas must have covered that trial for his paper, which means that Isaiah Thomas and John Adams knew one another.

Consider that Isaiah Thomas reported on the Boston Massacre trial, then reincarnated as Dan Abrams, who wrote the book John Adams Under Fire, which is about the very same trial!

The Massachusetts Spy also reported on the first battles of the American Revolution that took place in the Massachusetts towns of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. Isaiah himself participated as a soldier in the Battle of Concord.

Following the decision by the Continental Congress to separate from Britain on July 4, 1776, Isaiah Thomas had the honor of performing the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence to the citizens of Worcester.

Authors in Two Lifetimes

Like Dan Abrams, Isaiah Thomas was an author of books and he wrote the History of Printing in America, with a Biography of Printers, and an Account of Newspapers, published in two volumes in 1810.

In 1812, Thomas founded the American Society of Antiquaries, now known as the American Antiquarian Society, and donated his collection of 8000 books to its library. Thomas died in 1831.

Evidence and Principles of Reincarnation-Understanding Past Lives

Physical Resemblance in Reincarnation Cases: There is a similarity in the facial features and demeanor of Thomas and Abrams.

Past Life Passions, Talent and Abilities: Isaiah Thomas was a reporter and newspaper publisher for the American Revolution, while Dan Abrams is a reporter on legal matters and founder of a media empire.

Kundalini and Enlightenment-A Personal Experience, by Shai Tubali

Article by: Shai Tubali

“The proclamation of heaven has come, that the bird of the soul may rise in flight.” Rumi

Kundalini: God’s Mechanism of Redemption

I would like to start with a small, self-invented mythology, that contains a great truth. When God created the soul and sent it on its highly enriching, but agonizing journey of human incarnations, He knew that it would only be fair to equip it with some device that could enable it to salvage itself and return to Him one day. He was fully aware that the Earthly forces of gravity would overwhelm it, that the physical perils would imprint in it a deep clinging to the body and its survival instinct, and that the pleasures of the senses would ingrain in it a deep attachment to the bodily experience. He realized that He was taking a chance by sending it to the valley of endless forgetfulness called “Earth,” and that the distance separating the limited body and the infinitehood of cosmic consciousness was simply unbridgeable.

So, what could he do? In His wise mind, He envisioned a mechanism that could be implanted at the subtlest core of the human body. This would be a mechanism that could be powerful enough to overcome gravity and to disengage the soul from all mental, emotional and physical shackles. It should be able to signal to the soul that it is on the right path by imbuing it with the greatest form of unEarthly bliss. And it would be able to serve the soul as its ethereal aircraft with which it could fly all the way back to the heavens and be pulled to its original home; its true nature as infinite being.

As God was considering the options of an energetic structure that could perform such a miracle within the limited human body, one of the more creative archangels approached with the symbol of the caduceus, which one day would surface from the subconscious human mind in the form of the staff of Hermes and the symbol of medicine. It resembled the DNA strand, the inner encoding out of which all living beings were made. This structure, the angel advised God, would pull up all the Earthly energies through a single line and would spread and reactivate the soul’s wings so that it would remember it could fly.

God consented and ordered to construct this subtle body. He formed a complex net of energetic tubes with one central tube in their midst, which started at the base of the spine and culminated at the crown of the head. Within the base of this tube, He planted the seed of divine consciousness, a spark from His own mind. He knew that this spark would remain dormant as long as the soul would not be mature enough to achieve full self-awareness and to conduct the light of infinity while in the body.

With His boundless patience and love, He would wait for the moment in which the soul would awaken to the longing to return to its source. When that has happened, the spark He planted would be ignited at once and start its tireless mission to spiritualize the individual’s entire being, from dense matter into a self-revelation of one’s own hidden divinity.

Kundalini

Is this story a mere mythology? Perhaps there was no angel consulting God. Besides it is not a mythology at all. In fact, for the ripe soul that sincerely yearns for the divine, this subtle device is a living reality, which is not less tangible than the physical body and the experience of the senses. In the Yogic tradition, this device has been referred to as “Kundalini.” The experience itself, which is known to all esoteric traditions, is one and the same: the awakening of the spark of divine consciousness which gathers with it all the base energies and pushes them all the way upward, until it powerfully shatters the thin barrier that distinguishes man from infinity.

Short-term kundalini experiences can happen many times and to many people. Indeed, kundalini rises upward whenever we contemplate and meditate on spirit; whenever we are filled with spiritual longing and seek transcendence. Nevertheless, for the cosmic spark to attain complete satisfaction-and complete satisfaction can only mean that the spark has reunited with the undivided divine consciousness-a long and persistent process of increasing awakening is required, all the way to full illumination.

The Kundalini Awakening of Shai Tubali

When I was 20 years old, I experienced the initial urge for spiritual search. I did not truly understand what it was that I was seeking. It was more an intuitive attraction to the strange magic I had found in the aphorisms of Zen-Buddhism, as well as a hope to somehow overcome my social fears. My first significant step was taking a Transcendental Meditation course, in which I heard for the first time about Enlightenment as a union of the individual consciousness with the consciousness of the universe. Merely hearing that triggered an ancient pain of separation in my heart and I felt called to move toward that elusive state.

Shortly after, I traveled to India to abide in an ashram and to seek out those for whom the truth was not second-hand knowledge but a direct experience. Luckily, I encountered there my first teacher who, like me, was an Israeli. In India I learned for the first time-by reading a biography of Jiddu Krishnamurti, who had undergone an immense kundalini awakening at the age of 29-that enlightenment was not some mental insight but a profound and dramatic energetic transformation. With this understanding, extraordinary states-such as watching my body lying in bed from ceiling level and being awoken up at night to mysterious cosmic messages and energetic transmissions-began to convince me that I was entering the gates of the unknowable.

The Bliss of Kundalini Awakening

When I returned to Israel, I remained in contact with my first teacher and for two years I was constantly shifting from lonesome self-inquiry to spending time with him, and the other way around. Near the end of this period of two years, I attended a silent retreat held by one of his awakened student. As the silence grew more and more intense, I became overwhelmingly immersed in the bliss of the unified consciousness.

I would walk on my way to breakfast or to my cabin and, uncontrollably, would bump into this bubble-like, all-encompassing energy field of liberation and endless joy. My senses would withdraw, as if I became blinded to the world and capable of seeing and recognizing only this purity of oneness. This continued also after the retreat ended: Even on a busy street, I could be stopped by this mesmerizing beauty while the entire world would completely vanish into thin air. My mantra back then was the continuous sentence which seemed to run in my mind by itself: “Only consciousness is real and nothing else matters…”

These brief, yet immense awakenings were repeated more frequently by the time I joined a silent retreat of my first teacher. There, two days before my 23rd birthday, I attended my teacher’s birthday celebration. I was sitting somewhat distant, outside the circle of celebrators, and remained silent and still.

All of a sudden, I was struck by the clearest perception of what I used to consider “myself.” Looking within, there was no substantial center of identity. At that instance, I knew that the separate and individual consciousness was a mere illusion, and not even a very sophisticated one. Individual consciousness was just a bundle of memories that were artificially glued to one another in a way that they could create a phantom of psychological and continuous entity.

With this perception, kundalini awoke and began to rush throughout my spine. The dormant divine spark leaped to my third eye and the crown of my head. Kundalini broke free through the top of my head, out to the vast expanses of the cosmic mind. With great difficulty I dragged my astounded body away from the party and towards a narrow shoreline, and there kundalini graced me with a vision of my true nature.

Whatever I was looking at, was myself: the open sky, the rocks, the sea and the young men who played soccer on the beach, the universe as a whole existed solely as one, a limitless entity, and I was the universe and nothing besides. Waves of tears and laughter of recognition shook my body for some timeless long hours.

Two days later, on my birthday, I received from my teacher shaktipat, which is an energetic transmission of spiritual energy from a master. The purpose of shaktipat is to help the practitioner’s kundalini to rise.

This only deepened my already intoxicated state of self-forgetfulness. From this retreat onward, long months of tears and laughter began. A gushing universal love overwhelmed my chest, while kundalini was tirelessly emptying my being from familiar and personal feelings.

For hours on end I would sit immovable in an effortless and uninvited meditation. Holiness encompassed my small room. The divine element awoke to recognize itself, and all that was left of “me” was an awestricken witness. Nothing from what I read in books could prepare me for that; the reality of kundalini is endlessly far from mental constructs. For a full year, until the age of 24, I trod this path of indescribable silence where only truth could speak.

The Death of the Ego through Kundalini

Between the ages 24 to 26, the kundalini process, almost unbearably intense, took place. With a very young and unprepared nervous system and in the absence of sufficient guidance, this process turned into what is commonly known as a “kundalini crisis.” Put simply, for two years I felt that I was going to die. I repeatedly experienced my soul abandoning the body through the crown of my head. I went through many sleepless nights that were filled with unexplained phenomena. I experienced severe nausea and an extraordinary energetic vulnerability, in which I felt that no barrier remained to distinguish my own body from the rest of the world. Supernatural capacities came and left.

Nobody-no healer and no teacher-could grasp this process. My own teacher was dumbfounded, since he wasn’t a kundalini master. Fortunately, fate led me to meet my second teacher, a true American yogi, who generously took me under his wings. He consistently treated me with shaktipat, gave me Ayurvedic herbs and homeopathic essences, and calmly guided my exhausted being.

Being an initiate of a kundalini tradition (the Siddha Yoga tradition) himself, he finally made me conscious of this sophisticated divine device within. Through him, I also learned that even the powerful and clearly irreversible awakening that was shaking me to the root of my being was not enough. For liberation to be complete and the merging of the divine spark into the Godhead to be final, kundalini needed to remove many different types of blockages, including significant imprints from past-lives as well as the present life. Kundalini had to literally rewind the entire process of karmic becoming-to unravel deep-seated attachments, desires, angers and fears-until one’s being, from body to spirit, becomes sufficiently purified. Along the way, the evolution of my soul gradually revealed itself; the fundamental themes and lessons with which I had to meet from many lifetimes. At the same time, important learning and acquired capacities re-surfaced from my deepest past.

This process lasted, from the day of my awakening at the age of 23, onwards, for a period of ten years. By the age of 33 I could finally behold this divine mechanism fully awake within me, in ways that were as tangible as my physical reality. I could wholly and directly acknowledge the stream of subtle cosmic force throughout my spine; a stream that often felt like a gushing wild river. The correlation between this river-like flow and a complete unity consciousness and the dissolution of even the subtlest form of self, was undeniable.

When I reported this to my teacher, he surprised me by announcing that finally, my soul was approaching full liberation. In the yogic tradition, this is regarded as “Jivamukti,” which means that liberated soul exists while in a human body. I honestly could not grasp what he was talking about, but at the same time I could notice this river of eternal life surging inside me day and night, relentlessly melting away any sense of separation and individuality.

Time disappeared. Experience ceased. The thirst for life died out. There was no more personal story. My biography was interrupted like a book that ended in a middle of a sentence.

Kundalini as the Holy Spirit

Kundalini is not necessarily woken up directly and intentionally. It can awaken by itself, as a natural outcome of any expression of spiritual longing and a substantial ripening of the soul. That said, there are a variety of practices that can arouse this subtle force and lead it through our energetic spine.

Indirect kundalini awakenings can occur as a result of spending time in the presence of a true spiritual master (satsang); silent retreats and dark-room retreats as well as retreats of spiritual fasting and intense forms of self-inquiry or contemplation on spiritual truths. Direct kundalini awakenings may occur through the grace of shaktipat from a spiritual master or the practices of forest bathing (thanks to the unique kundalini-evoking power of trees) and meditative methods that work directly with this energy, such as the “Expansion Method,” which I have developed and taught for many years.

Spinal breathing-repeatedly breathing into the base of the spine, then throughout the spine and finally throughout the crown of the head-can be particularly effective. Practices that support the flow of kundalini are eating raw foods, forms of stretching like yoga postures, meditation in general, chiropractic and any other bodywork that correct and improve posture. It is strongly recommended to steer clear of any technique that attempts to force kundalini into an unnaturally quick and intense arousal.

When kundalini is aroused without coercion and within a conscious and supportive context, it is never violent or destructive. Its aim is one: creating the inconceivable-an awakened soul, which fully remembers its eternal and infinite nature while still within the confines of a limited and mortal body.

In such a state, there seems to be no difference between the hindu concepts of Shiva (the divine consciousness) and Shakti (the spark of kundalini within the individual human being)-or, as Jesus boldly declared as soon as his own kundalini was fully awakened, no real difference between the Father and the son, for the Holy Spirit, kundalini, brought them together into an eternally unbreakable oneness.

Addendum by Walter Semkiw, MD

I would like to share my own experiences with kundalini. When I was in college I had a desire to pursue meditation, though I cannot really say why. Like in Shai’s story, I took classes in Transcendental Meditation and was given a mantra to use in meditation. I did this regularly throughout my college years.

When I started medical school, I met an individual who stated that he had expertise in meditation and the awakening of kundalini. He taught me to do Chi Gong, which is a Chinese meditative practice in which one stands in a particular posture to activate kundalini. Each day, before I went to my medical school classes, I did this standing meditation for an hour. When I was doing this meditation, I would experience jolts in my spinal column. I wear glasses, and the more violent spinal jolts resulted in my glasses flying off my head and landing several feet behind me.

I did not have a significant spiritual experience until many years later. I have always had a love of music, but I do not have the fine finger coordination to play an instrument well. Instead, since I have always been a pretty good athlete, I expressed my love of music through dancing ballet. This hobby was enhanced by the fact that the majority of my fellow dance students were very fit and attractive women. My ballet career culminated in a performance with the full orchestra of the Denver Symphony. I still cherish that memory. Click on the image comparisons to enlarge them.

Years later, I became affiliated with a ballet company in San Francisco led by the choreographer Enrico Labayen. Though I was not a good enough ballet dancer to be in his troop, Enrico invited me to his dance company’s rehearsals. I loved watching talented dancers perform Enrico’s choreography. At rehearsals, I would have a book in my hand and as is my practice, I had a red felt marker or pen that I used to make notes in the books that I would read.

Enrico’s ballet company was rehearsing a dance that featured a female dancer who was lifted by male ballet dancers over their heads. The female dancer positioned her body in the shape of a cross. While I was watching this performance the red felt pen that I was holding suddenly and unexpectedly was juggled in my hands and as a result, I had to red marks on the inside aspects of both of my wrists, creating what seemed to be stigmata on my wrists. This event happened to occur on Easter Sunday in 1996.

I found this strange and baffling and when I stood up from a seated position I realized that my consciousness had been changed. I experienced complete bliss which lasted for about six weeks. I continued my work as a corporate medical director with no diminishing of function, but I was a changed person. I felt love for everything and everyone. At the time, I was going through a divorce which had become contentious, but in this state of consciousness, I wanted to do everything I could possibly do for the woman I was about to divorce. Though I was not in a financial position to do so, I even wanted to gift her the house that we had lived in.

As mentioned, this state of bliss lasted for six weeks and then it faded. I remember that at the time I was disappointed that this state of consciousness had disappeared and I wished that it would have lasted forever.

I believe this experience was prompted by my engagement in researching a past life of my own, in which Enrico Labayen was my son in a past lifetime during the period of the American Revolution. Further, a number of the dancers in Enrico’s company I determined were my relatives in that lifetime. This story is presented in detail in my book, Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation and Soul Groups Reunited.

A brief overview of this past lifetime of mine is presented on the following page:

Reincarnation Case of John Adams | Walter Semkiw

Temporary versus Permanent Results of Kundalini Awakening

As Shai Tubali described above, I believe that I had a manifestation of kundalini awakening. When I became acquainted with Shai, I wondered if his experience with kundalini was temporary or permanent. He replied with this statement:

“As a spiritual teacher, it is a part of my integrity to teach only that which is based on the permanent effects of the kundalini awakening. What started 19 years ago has only increased and deepened with time. The permanent effect is a continuous state of self-dissolution and an absorption in universal consciousness. This means that there is no experience as an independent ego, since the mind, heart and body function as a part of the whole. My self-identity is: “I am the universe”.

As such, I believe I had a temporary kundalini awakening which lasted six weeks. In contrast, Shai’s kundalini experience has been much more intense and has resulted in a permanent, rather than a temporary, change in consciousness.

Shai Tubali is the author of numerous books and he is a spiritual teacher based in Berlin, Germany. To learn more about Shai’s work, please go to:

A Medical Doctor’s Journey into Past Lives

The way in which I became involved in reincarnation research is that in 1984, on a lark, I went to a medium, much like the one that Penney Peirce went to see. It was a time when I was in my medical training in Chicago, Illinois. A friend called me and suggested that I have a session with a medium who was working out of a local metaphysical bookstore.

Being a skeptic by nature, I had never even considered going to a psychic before. It had been a dreary winter, though, with little to do but study, and I reasoned that a session with a medium could be, if nothing else, entertaining.

During the session, the medium went into a meditative state and in doing so, allowed spirit guides to talk through him. These guides told me about family issues with surprising accuracy.

The guides then told me about two past lives, one of which was during the American Revolution. In short, they told me that I was John Adams, an American Revolutionary who eventually became the first Vice President, under George Washington, then the second President of the United States. I had heard that psychics often tell people that they were someone famous in a past lifetime, as that is what their clients want to hear. I did not find it plausible that I was Adams, so in 1984, I dismissed the information as ridiculous and did not pursue the Adams connection for about 12 years.

A Booming Telepathic Message

At the end of 1995, I was fully engaged in my medical career and was on a business trip in Hawaii.  I was working as a medical director of an oil company called Unocal 76, whose slogan happened to be, “The Spirit of 1776,” a reference to the spirit of the American Revolution.  It was about lunch time and I was standing at one Unocal’s facilities in Honolulu waiting for some colleagues. Out of the blue, out of nowhere, I received an internal command like I had never experienced before.  A booming voice inside my head commanded:

“Study the Lifetime of Adams”

I had never heard a booming internal voice like that before, nor have I since. The message conveyed by this voice was firm and undeniable, and powerful enough to make me go to a bookstore in Honolulu that evening, where I purchased books on the American Revolution and John Adams.

iisispeteradamsgeorgesemkiwreincarnationcaseIn the session in 1984, the spirit guides told me that if I researched John Adams, I would see myself in physical attributes, personality and habits. As I read about Adams over the course of 1996, that is exactly what I found. I had the same personality, the same strengths and weaknesses, and in certain portraits, such as the one done for the Paris peace conference after the Revolutionary War, I had the very same face as Adams. Place your cursor on image comparisons to enlarge the image and your arrow keys to scroll up and down on the image.

Past Life Relationships

Over time, I identified 60 people who where affiliated with Adams, who seemed to be reincarnated around me in my life. For example, my brother George appeared to be the reincarnation of Peter Adams, the brother of John Adams. Facial features, as well as personality traits, were consistent.

I hypothesized that my other brother, Leo, who is an orthopedic surgeon, is the reincarnation of Cotton Tufts, who was also a physician and a close friend of the Adams family, who managed the Adams’s finances when they traveled overseas. Leo managed my mother’s finances prior to her death.

John Adams, US President, Reincarnation Case

IISISCottonTuftsLeoSemkiwReincarnationCaseOver a period of two years, I slowly and reluctantly started to consider that I might be the reincarnation of John Adams.

One reason was the many synchronistic and unusual events that were occurring to me in relation to Adams. One such unusual event involved accidentally discovering a case of xenoglossy.

This involves a Russian friend of mine named Igor, who was also living in San Francisco. In my study of Adams, I had a hunch that Igor was a Frenchman that John Adams knew, when Adams served as an American ambassador to France. When Igor and I first met, we became instant friends, typical of what happens when one encounters a compatriot from a past incarnation. Igor physically resembled the Frenchman and they shared personality traits. Igor and the Frenchman both loved music and played instruments. Igor was trained as a concert pianist in Russia and after immigrating to the United States, he played for the major ballet companies in New York. Igor and the Frenchman were also both adept at finance. Igor, in fact, makes his living on the stock market.

A Telepathic Message Reveals a Case of Xenoglossy: Unlearned Language

Though Igor is a close friend, I didn’t tell him about his hypothesized French past life identity for over a year, as Igor was an atheist and I knew that he did not believe in reincarnation. One evening, I was at Igor’s apartment, sitting in the kitchen with Igor and his new girlfriend, Holly. Igor and Holly had been dating for about six months, but she lived in Seattle, so this was my first opportunity to meet her. Out of the blue, I received a distinct intuition, which seemed like a telepathic message. In fact, the best way that I can describe it is that I experienced a “voiceless voice,” a term used by Neale Donald Walsh in his book series, Conversations with God. Though I have no idea where the voiceless voice came from, it made the following statement:

“Tell them now, tell them now.”

IISISIgorReincarnationCaseI immediately knew that the voiceless voice wanted me to tell Igor and Holly about Igor’s past lifetime as a Frenchman, though I didn’t understand why I should tell Igor at this point in time. I argued with this unexpected voice, thinking to myself, “Why should I tell them now? I could have told Igor a year ago. Besides, he’s never going to believe it anyway.” None the less, I complied with the voiceless voice’s instruction. I reluctantly told Igor and his girlfriend about my feeling that I knew Igor in the Revolutionary Era and that he was French. An image comparison featuring Igor and his proposed past life match is provided to the right.

Xenoglossy: Igor Speaks French in his Sleep

His girlfriend, Holly, then replied, “Boy that’s strange, because Igor speaks French in his sleep.” Igor confirmed that this was true. Igor related that he has been told many times that he speaks French in his sleep and he admitted that he has never studied French. Igor cannot speak French in his waking consciousness. Of course, Igor being the atheist that he is, didn’t care about this phenomenon or how it possibly could occur.

I was thunderstruck! This represented a case of xenoglossy, in which a person can speak a language that was never learned. The amazing thing was that it supported my hypothesis about Igor and the Adams past life research in general. It appears that the voiceless voice prompted me to tell Igor about his French lifetime in the presence of his girlfriend, so that she could report his nocturnal language skills to me. Otherwise, I may never have learned about Igor’s xenoglossy.

In addition, many other strange events and coincidences occurred to me that seemed to relate to a past lifetime as Adams, which are recounted in detail in the last chapter of my book Return of the Revolutionaries, which is entitled, A Science of Spirit and the New Reformation. If my hypothesized reincarnation case was true, I reasoned that the information might be valuable in understanding how reincarnation works, but I didn’t know what to do with the information. Prior to the year 2000, I certainly wasn’t ready to go public. After all, I was a physician making a good salary. I didn’t want to lose my job by running around saying that I was John Adams, if I was not. I needed some type of validation or confirmation.

A Tour of Psychics: Introduction to Kevin Ryerson & the Spirit Being or Spirit Guide Ahtun Re

Kevin Ryerson & Meaning of Life, Walter Semkiw MD IISIS Reincarnation Case StudyNot knowing what else to do, I started going to psychics in the San Francisco area, where I was living, who had good reputations, to see what they would say. For example, I visited Michael Tamura, who directed the Berkeley Psychic Center for almost 20 years. In this position, he trained other clairvoyants, so I though he might be a reliable resource. In my session with Michael he stated, “Yes, you were John Adams and you are here to bring the Founding Fathers back.” That was nice, but I still wasn’t convinced. I went to several other psychics and they all told me the same thing, that I was reincarnation of John Adams. I still questioned their accuracy and suspected they may just be telling me something they thought I wanted to hear.

In my continuing tour, I eventually was referred to Kevin Ryerson, the medium who has worked with Shirley MacLaine for 30 years or so and who is featured in four of her books.

I learned that Kevin is a trance channel, which means that when he works, he goes into a meditative state or trance and allows spirit beings to speak through him.

The Spirit Guide or Spirit Being Ahtun Re

The spirit being that I began to work with through Kevin is named Ahtun Re, who identifies himself as an Egyptian of Nubian origin. Ahtun Re explained that he had evolved through a series of human lifetimes and then ascended, like Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed and other spiritual masters. Ahtun Re’s last incarnation, he told me, was in Egypt, during the reign of the Pharaoh Akhenaton (1379-1362 BC), who was known as the “Father of Monotheism.” Ahtun Re served as a High Priest and advisor to Akhenaton and as such, Ahtun Re’s last incarnation occurred approximately 3350 years ago.

Speaking to an Egyptian spirit guide that has been dead for over 3000 years was a novel experience for me. I was open-minded, but skeptical, and in the beginning I did not assume that Ahtun Re was accurate. Like any reasonable person, and especially since my background is in science, I needed evidence to be convinced that Ahtun Re produced valid information.

A Review of Past Life Cases from the American Revolution

First of all, Ahtun Re also confirmed that I am the reincarnation of John Adams. I then reviewed the list of almost 60 past life matches that I had hypothesized regarding the group that was incarnate around John Adams, who I thought I had identified in contemporary times. As we went through each match, Ahtun Re told me whether I was right or wrong. In total, he validated about 85 percent of the matches that I had hypothesized and he indicated that 15 percent or so were inaccurate. A number of American Revolution past life cases validated by Ahtun Re are found on the Reincarnation Research web site. To learn more:

Obscurity of Past Life Matches Convinces Walter Ahtun Re is a Spirit Being separate from Kevin Ryerson

Still, I wasn’t sure whether there was any reason to place trust in Ahtun Re. How did I know that his determinations were valid?

A breakthrough occurred when I started to ask about matches in which I had no hypothesized matches and I asked Ahtun Re to tell me who a person was in a past lifetime, or who a person from history is in contemporary times. What I found was that Ahtun Re could make past life identifications, which when researched, appeared to be valid and accurate. The matches he made, when investigated, demonstrated similar facial features, personality traits, talents and appropriate karmic groupings.

Further, at times the matches involved individuals in history that were so obscure and so hard to get information on, that there was no way that Ahtun Re (or Kevin Ryerson for that matter) could have made the matches without accessing some spiritual source of accurate data. Some might call this source of information the Akashic Record, some may call it Universal Mind.

Core Cases that Demonstrate the Ability of Spirit Being Ahtun Re to Read the Akashic Record or Universal Mind

A sample of cases which clearly demonstrate Ahtun Re’s ability to make accurate past life matches include those of the 2000 American Green Party Candidate for President, Ralph Nader, the astronomer Carl Sagan, Neale Donald Walsch, author of the Conversations with God book series, and the reincarnations of Laurel and Hardy. The Laurel & Hardy | Bacher Boys reincarnation cases are also very powerful. These cases are presented in the section: Core Cases that Demonstrate Ahtun Re’s Ability

Spirit Being Ahtun Re’s Encyclopedic Fund of Knowledge: Precedes Google

One must keep in mind that when I started to work with Kevin in 2001, search engines, such as Google, were primitive and were not used routinely. When Ahtun Re gave me information to research, I had to do it the old-fashioned way by going to the library and reading books. Because of the limited access to information at that time, I came to realize that Ahtun Re’s fund of knowledge was beyond what was possible for Kevin Ryerson. As noted in the reincarnation cases involving Penney Peirce, a medium named Bobby Jo seemed to have access to information in an encyclopedic scope. In a similar way, Ahtun Re seemed to have knowledge there was beyond the capacity of a single human being.

The Spirit Guide MacPherson Observes Walter Shirley MacLaine & Walter from the Spirit Realm

IIISIS Reincarnation Case Study Shirley MacLaineBefore I proceed with presenting cases solved through Ahtun Re, I would like to share an anecdote which demonstrates that the spirit guides that Kevin channels can monitor events on Earth. In my book, Return of the Revolutionaries, Shirley MacLaine is identified as James Wilson, an American Revolutionary and signer of the Declaration of Independence, a match that Ahtun Re revealed. Ms. MacLaine was gracious enough to agree to be in my book, though she herself had not had an opportunity to have a session with Kevin prior to my book’s publication to have this past lifetime confirmed directly.

The Robert Morris | Shirley MacLaine Reincarnation Case

A few months after publication of Return of the Revolutionaries, Ms. MacLaine was conducting a series of workshops in October 2003 at the Academy of Art College, in San Francisco. It was an opportunity for me to meet Ms. MacLaine for the first time. In the interim months, I understood from Kevin that Shirley did have a session with him and Ahtun Re. Subsquently, Shirley cited the Robert Morris | Shirley MacLaine reincarnation case in her book I’m Over All That: And Other Confessions.

Spirit Being Ahtun Re Suggests a Present for Shirley MacLaine

I myself happened to have a telephone session with Kevin Ryerson scheduled on the day before Shirley’s event. Kevin conducted the session from Portland, Oregon, which is where he was living at the time. In the session, I asked Ahtun Re whether I should bring a gift to Shirley. Ahtun Re, speaking through Kevin in his deep bass voice, told me to have a T Shirt manufactured that had an image of Shirley’s revolutionary persona on the front, with a caption underneath that states:

“In my next lifetime, I want to be Shirley MacLaine.”

On the back of the T Shirt, Ahtun Re told me that I should emboss the following line,

“One hundred lifetimes and all I get is this crummy T Shirt.”

Ahtun Re not only can make accurate past life matches, he also has a sense of humor. Well, almost miraculously, I was able to get the T Shirt manufactured within a day and I had it with me when I went to see Shirley speak. After the morning session, I introduced myself to Shirley at the lunch break. I was not prepared for what happened next. At the start of the afternoon session, Shirley invited me to join her on stage.

Walter get Nervous On Stage with Shirley MacLaine and Passes the Microphone like a Baton

For almost two hours, a three-way conversation ensued between Shirley, her audience of two to three hundred people and me, regarding reincarnation, my book and her past life as Robert Morris. Though I was having the time of my life, I was nervous about being on stage with one of the most famous celebrities on the planet. My anxiety was channeled into my right hand, which was holding the microphone. My hand grasped the microphone with greater and greater force until it started to cramp. At that point, perhaps forty minutes into our discussion, I passed the microphone to my left hand. After a while, my left hand started to cramp and I had to pass the microphone back to my right hand. This passing of the microphone baton continued throughout the duration of my stage appearance with Shirley, which as noted, lasted almost two hours.

Spirit Being MacPherson Observes Shirley & Walter from the Spirit Realm

IISISSpiritWorldHeavenWhat is remarkable about this incident with Shirley is that Kevin Ryerson’s spirit guides were watching the proceedings from the spirit world. Recall that Kevin was in Portland while the event with Shirley took place in San Francisco. Several months after Shirley’s Academy of Art College engagement, Kevin Ryerson came to San Francisco to do a lecture and a public demonstration of channeling. In the session, another spirit guide channeled through Kevin, Tom MacPherson, came through. MacPherson often came through in sessions for Shirley MacLaine, as Tom was last incarnate as an actor in Shakespeare’s troupe, so he and Shirley have a common interest in drama. Tom, through Kevin, addressed the audience in his Irish accent and he called me out. Tom inquired, “So, Laddy, did you have a nice time with the redhead?”

The redhead that Tom was referring to, of course, was Shirley MacLaine. I responded that I had a wonderful time on stage with Shirley. Tom then noted:

“You were a wee bit nervous, though, passing the microphone to and fro from one hand to another.”

I was shocked when Tom made that statement, as I had not told Kevin of the microphone incident. Later upon questioning, Kevin confirmed that he had no knowledge of my problem with the microphone when I was on stage with Shirley. This made me realize that Kevin’s guides could monitor events on Earth, regardless of where Kevin himself was physically located.

Dear Friends in Kevin Ryerson & Spirit Being Ahtun Re

Over the years that I have worked with Kevin regularly since we first met in October 2001 and we have become good friends. In addition, since I have had monthly sessions with Kevin since 2001, I also feel that Ahtun Re is a friend of mine. In the sessions, Ahtun Re is as warm and human as anyone else that you might speak to over the telephone. The only difference is that with Ahtun Re, the telephone is Kevin Ryerson. MacPherson has also come through a handful of times, but it has been Ahtun Re who has been the dominant spirit guide that I have worked with. Ahtun Re and MacPherson have distinct personalities, which are quite different from Kevin’s personality.

I would also like to mention that I am not the only one who has had extremely positive experiences with information gained through Kevin Ryerson. For example, William H. Kautz received a Doctorate of Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and served as a staff scientist at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) for 35 years. Dr. Kautz has written several books on the topic of intuition and he regards Kevin Ryerson as one of the most accurate intuitives he has studied.
